I’d like to thank Jane and Peter for taking such a good care of my dog during his 3 week stay. He came home happy, energetic and clean. More importantly, I noticed no behavioral change at all upon his return. It's such a relief to find sitters I can truly trust. Highly recommended!

Hometown Kennels And Grooming was an utter relief for Sir Wolfie! We moved here from a neighbouring city, and I found Hometown on line with a great rating. This is my first dog, my companion and saviour. He’s a Cavalier Spaniel and requires a lot of coat maintenance. With some unfortunate repeated bathing I could not keep up with his coat. They had to shave him right down which I fully expected but, when initially searching for a groomer, I was very concerned about how close to the skin a groomer would have to go. They managed with care, and Wolfie was so calm when we picked him up! We loved the feedback and communication. We hope to communicate more regarding home care for Wolfie, we will continue to go back for sure!

Our Buddy spent 10 days at Hometown Kennels And Grooming, and we couldn't be happier with the care he received while there! He is definitely a nervous dog around new people and situations, and his usual boarding facility was fully booked for the dates we requested. After looking online at a few other options in our area, we were impressed by the set-up of the kennels and secure yard at Hometown Kennels And Grooming.
Jane & Pete were more than accommodating right from the beginning, giving Buddy time to roam around the fenced in yard and adjust to his new surroundings/sniff the smells etc. They reassured us he would do well, and they were right! It was nice to see some pictures of him enjoying his stay on their Facebook page while we were away.
When we went to pick Buddy up last night, he was out in the yard with Jane & Pete, coming up for pets and looking completely relaxed! We will definitely be recommending Hometown Kennels And Grooming to our friends and relatives, and will certainly be booking Buddy in again! Thank you again!

I’m very disappointed with the care and grooming my English bulldog received. When I picked Luna up, the area under her tail was extremely dirty, even though I had specifically asked for it to be cleaned every time she went outside. I also left wet wipes, but they appeared completely unused.
The grooming itself was also poorly done—some of her nails were cut too short while others were left long, which is unacceptable and concerning for her comfort and safety. On top of that, I reached out by text about these issues and never received a response.
Overall, this was a very frustrating experience, and I expected much better care and communication.
