When we got our puppy Ozzy Pawsbourne, we thought we were prepared to take on training on our own. We had trained our last puppy and managed fine so why joy this one? Well we quickly realized our Bernese mountain/golden retriever cross, was an angry panda shark, who loved to jump and nip and was causing havoc in our lives! My elderly mother was afraid of her, my 5 year old couldn’t play with her without being hurt, and we were about ready to give up hope that Ozzy would ever be the kind of dog we wanted. Carson was recommended to me by a friend, but I was very hesitant to leave my fur baby in the hands of someone I’d never met for such a long time! 5 weeks seemed like forever! We were beyond shocked when the day he brought Ozzy home we were able to take her for an off leash walk in our neighbourhood!!! Even Carson said I don’t know how you were living with her without being hurt the level of excitement she has. Always jumping, always in your face, and now….a completely different dog! She is still my sweet cuddly girl, but now everyone can see it! I took her to my mom’s retirement home and had her off leash in the lobby visiting with all the residents. Sitting nicely for pets, coming when she’s called, no biting, no jumping, my mom was in love! Night and day! Especially when you consider she’s only 7 months old! If you have that same hesitation, this is your sign! It’s worth the money! It’s worth the 5 weeks! Carson was beyond great with Ozzy, and it’s clear she really enjoyed being with him, you could tell when he left she didn’t want him to go. Spend the money! Get the dog you want! It really will be worth it in the long run! I can’t help but wonder now how much better our last dog COULD have been, had we done this training with her too! Thank you Carson and everyone at Spartan! We’re so thrilled to have Ozzy back home and to have her really be a part of our family!

We had an amazing experience with Spartan Canine Training! Our lab had a few behavioral issues—nothing major, just things we needed help addressing—and Carson was absolutely incredible. From day one, he was knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely cared about helping both us and our dog succeed. We learned so much throughout the process, and the difference we’ve seen in our pup is night and day. He’s more focused, well-behaved, and happier overall. I did the off-leash training with both of my mastiffs—a Cane Corso and a Presa Canario—and the results have been incredible. They listen perfectly and I constantly get compliments on how well-behaved they are. Both of my dogs are 150 pounds each (I’m only 115 pounds), and I can confidently walk them on or off leash without any worry. The training gave me complete control and peace of mind, even with two powerful breeds. I couldn’t be happier with the training !

Buddy had a great experience with Carson and His Team! Boarding and Training went really well now that he’s home.
We took their suggestion with a raised bed. It’s his “Place” and loves it.

Carson has been amazing with my dog Quill, a working line German Shepherd I adopted as an adult with behavioral issues. I was nervous at first, but Carson handled everything with ease and gave us the tools we needed to succeed.
