Clark and I LOVE Oxford Dog Sports. We have been doing nosework there for about a year and just this past weekend, Clark completed his UKC Conformation championship. Sean and François (the owners) are amazing and all of the staff and volunteers are so helpful and welcoming. As soon you commit to being involved in their programs it is like you become a part of the ODS family. I HIGHLY recommend them for dog sports or training sessions with your dog(s)!!

Oxford Dog Sports has been amazing for me and Vincen. We started out in July 2023 taking a class for introduction to nosework - having zero previous experience in it. Just this past weekend, at the UKC Nosework trial, Vincen earned his Elite Nosework title! It is all thanks to Sean, Francois, the hard working staff and volunteers, and the amazing community at Oxford Dog Sports. The trials are always well run, efficient, and fun! I'm so glad I found this little gem of a dog community.

An amazing, supportive environment owned by two wonderful human beings. This group of dog trainers and professionals are genuinely decent human beings with excellent knowledge to bring to any lesson!
(Thanks for staying open and letting me and my puppy camp in the building after hours while I waited for a tow truck. You guys are the best!!)

So originally I searched up this place cuz I was looking for a sport sport to do scent work with my dachshunds, this place offers all kinds of different training for all kinds of different scent, work, sports, as well as many other trainings for your dogs, myself and my dogs took a liking to country rat race which is hunting for live rats out in fields (the rats are not harmed) both of my dogs love this sport immensely. Just being outside tracking and trailing and then finding the rat they get so excited waiting for their turn,
The Oxford dog sports staff and volunteers put on a very good event and are always very friendly and able to answer any questions that you may have

I had heard of ODS. I Liked them at facebook just to follow their posts. They are over an hour away. I had be training my puppy for nosework closer to home. I had had my breeder pick up a Ducks Unlimited clock for me. She said she was entering a dog at ODS nose trail and to enter and pick up the clock. Little did I know that clock would bring so much enrichment and enjoyment to my pup and myself at ODS. After that weekend I continued to go to the events. Sean and Francois are very welcoming, comforting and caring hosts. The coffee is even great. Lux and I will continue to compete at ODS. As for distance- My breeder trucked in from Kingston. There are other regulars who come in from much further away. I showed horses most of my life. There are 2 reasons to haul far away- Year end points or you enjoy the hosts and facility. Do not hesitate to go and enjoy a day with your dog at ODS. See you soon with Lux ( Urban Legends Invitation Only) and part 2- Rip (Urban Legends Black Tie Affair)
